The Charity Association of Macau Business Readers is well known for organizing high-quality event and conference that focus on inclusivity. In order to be more accessible for the regional community – the Greater Bay area in particular 2020 will see the debut of the Greater Bay Bowling Masters.
On Wednesday, April 22nd 2020 the first Greater Bay Bowling Masters is scheduled to take place at the Cotai Bowling Centre from 2pm to 5pm. There are various opportunities to participate in this tournament.
Teams will receive two games of bowling, shoe rental, goodie bag, Bowling-shirt, food and drinks for each team member.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT – Adjusted Three Player Baker
The Baker Format requires teams to rotate in players so that each player plays in order. In a three-person team Baker format, the first bowler (team member 1) bowls frames 1, 4, 7; team member 2 bowls 2, 5, and 8; and team member 3 bowls 3, 6, and 9. The team then nominates which bowler shall take on the 10th frame.
The maximum number of teams invited to participate is limited to 16. The first round will be allocated in a lucky draw. Winners of the first round will directly advance to the next round while the losers of the first round will face each other in B Finals.
There will be a handicap implied – B Finalists have to remain with the same nominated 10th bowler that played the very first round. Whereas the round one winners can nominate a 10th bowler each round they advance to.
In case of an incident – a team player cannot be exchanged or replaced.
Teams will be allocated in a lucky draw by the tournament organizer during the Monday Conference Session.
After arriving at the tournament venue and sign in – a 30min Warm-Up session will take place where all lines are open.
Round 1 will be played on 8 lanes.
Round 1 Winners remain to the front 4 lanes while Round 1 Losers will continue on lane 5 to 8.
